As the science has progressed in neuroscience, biology, psychology, physiology, and medical biophysics, the importance of our nervous system functioning on our experience of well being has become clear. Nervous system regulation is now a form of emotional fitness. Stress, trauma, and other life difficulties can take our nervous systems out of sync. The heart/mind/spirit connection is powerful and can have a profound impact on mental and physical health. Fortunately, a combination of non-invasive technology, Polyvagal Theory-informed Gestalt-based and somatic therapeutic treatments, and ancient mindfulness practices can work together to restore our nervous system foundation for greater harmony.
Planning Your Program
The Embodiment Emersion program is personalized based on each client’s needs. The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is incorporated into the treatment plan for nervous system healing. Upon completion of the Embodiment Emersion, clients may decide to continue therapy in support of continued healing, growth and embodiment.
Retune Your Neural Network for an Optimal Life
Emerge — feeling calm, content, resilient, safe and at ease, grounded and awakened to your senses with access to joyful states of being.
Embrace — relationships with an enhanced capacity for genuine connection, social engagement and engagement with life. Communicate more effectively with greater capacity to interpret emotional meaning and intent of interactions.
Empower — yourself with greater mental clarity, focus, attention, cognition, flexibility and creativity.
Embody — presence and integration of the brain/body/spirit connection. Increase awareness of the here and now. Learn to receive, process and respond to the environment more effectively.
Integrated SSP Journey
Every person’s nervous system and life circumstances are unique. As such, each person’s journey to nervous system regulation will be unique and deeply personal. The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is not a stand-alone treatment or replacement for ongoing therapy. I use a personalized and integrated approach in the delivery of SSP.
As a Gestalt therapist, I take a whole-person, present-centered and relationship approach to therapy to support an effective SSP delivery.
As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), I work with the body/mind connection and the nervous system in the treatment of stress and trauma. This can support you in staying grounded as you make powerful shifts, working through things that may be blocking your ability for nervous system regulation.
As a certified mindfulness and self-compassion teacher, I incorporate mindfulness, sensory awareness, mindful movement and enhanced tracking and awareness of body, emotions, and sensations to support insights.
Having done my graduate studies in mindfulness-based transpersonal clinical mental health counseling, I integrate the spiritual elements of life supporting your ability for creative and spiritual expression for your intentional life journey.
